What now, Obama?

Nearly two years of electioneering has come to an end. Barack Obama is to be the next US President. He faces great challenges - not only in his own country, of course, but internationally. Can he live up to the expectations the world has of him as the future leader of the world's only remaining Superpower?
If you’re a follower of US and world politics there are plenty of public events, forums and meetings for you to visit across Baden-Württemberg in which the tasks facing Barack Obama as President will be the focus of discussion.
In Stuttgart, check out the program of the DAZ (www.daz.org) in Charlottenplatz, for discussions in the coming days reflecting on the legacy of George W Bush as President and the challenges facing Barack Obama as his successor.
The German-American Center in Tübingen (www.dai-tuebingen.de) is organizing post-election events in the university city, while the German-American Center in Heidelberg (www.dai-heidelberg.de) is also organizing discussion events.
